Nanotechnology problems

When we use water-proof jeans, eyeglasses that never blurred, molecular rotative nanomotors, guitars with nanostrings, etc, we say that the nanotechnology (a nanometer = 1 http://www.euroresidentes.com/futuro/nanotecnologia/nanotecnologia.htm billion part of a meter), begins to invade us. It exists also a utopic future nanotechnology, that intends maintain food fresh by always, stop the aging, disappear the death, conduct medicines to specifically places affected of our body, to eliminate toxic of environment, store trillion of data in small spaces, create new forms of energy, generate new forms of medical implants (dental miniscrew), repair nerves and blood vessels, heal wounds instantly, normalize the human sugar and cholesterol by means of nanochips, place nanomotors in the backs of virus, etc. Since 1990, part of the previous thing is stopping being science fiction, mercy to the employment of atomic force and tunnel scanning microscopes. With them and lithographic nanotechnology of electronic rays, that is to say uniting atom by atom, we are constructing molecular and finally supramolecular structures and, vice versa.

Richard Feynmann (1959), was the first one in conceiving artificial atomic structures. Norio Taniguchi (1974), created the term nanotechnology, in 1980 the writer Eric Drexler saw pros and cons (implications) and in 1999 for the first time Ho and Lee, united and melted an atom of CO with another of Iron, on a glass crystal fund. As everything that shines is not gold, some scientifics are afraid that some nanorobots can selfassemble, manipulate atoms to scale and finally convert the biosphere in a gray clay (grey go), destroying the Earth. Happens also that at nanométric scale, the physics functions in strange ways : gold is liquidate instead of solid and copper is transparent instead of opaque, etc. For that reason, while in USA and Japan they carry out large investments in nanotechnology, the cautious England has opened a rational debate in its society to this respect. It explains their delay in investments because they do not desire that happen the same thing that with the genetically modified food, that is to say to prevent that the nanotechnology be rejected, for lack of information. The great danger is that nanoadminícles can be employed to generate nuclear fision-fusions procedures (atomic bombs), on the road being serious dificcult to blames someone of it.
