BON VOYAGE :SIR ARTHUR C. CLARKE

From the british sci-fi writer Arthur Charles Clarke (1917-2008), we should rescue 2 things: I) Their liking to discuss in extensive, the advantages and disadvantages of new technologies and his interest for one taking of conscience on the part of the man, with regard to his environment to which seems to be destroying but that building. It is common to see in Clarke’s books good and bad actions exercised on the biosphere. Adducing that technology per se is insufficient, he requests tolerance and compassion to achieve a bigger understanding among nations. II) To understand Clarke it would be better to see his video carried out little before turning 90 years, to which he gives in calling his "90 orbits". Clarke is a techno-optimist that foresee big knitted human space communities. As example of the previous thing, Clarke mentions the recent beginning of human space tourism and the increasing of cellular mobiles (3.3 billions in 25 years). In the video Clarke, expressed his desires to : a) see soon, microbial or complex extraterrestrial life, b) see the replacement of fossil energy for another clean one and c) a built peace with effort arriving to Sri Lanka (his second country) and to the rest of the world.
