3 D SCAN LASER




Using scan-laser technology, a group of scientists headed by Norbert Zimmerman/Vienna Academy of Sciences, has obtained three-dimensional images of Saint Domitila catacombs/Roma (15 km long/built 200 years a C), without destroying anything. A prowess to be imitated in Chan Chan, Moche Tombs beds of underground rivers, motor inners,etc. The technology broadly used in video games, construction, dentistry, etc., is so impressive that it completes not finished areas and reproduces to color the interior paintings.


An appropriate software allows to carry out tours for the interior of the spaces virtually reconstructed. The kit that is for sale for internet, uses a tripod of 1 m of high. The scan-laser, emits trillions of pulses of light, those that after bounced on the studied surface, return to the scanner to be registered in a computer like a series of white points (point cloud: geometric forms on the surface of the object). Usando tecnología scan-laser, un grupo de cientificos encabezados por Norbert Zimmerman/Vienna Academy of Sciences, ha obtenido imágenes tridimensionales de las catacumbas de Santa Domitila/Roma (15 km, de largo/construida 200 años d. de C), sin destrozar nada. Una proeza a ser imitada en Chan Chan, Tumbas moche, cauces de ríos subterráneos, interior de motores,etc. La tecnologia ampliamente usada en videojuegos, construcción, odontología, etc., es tan impresionante que completa áreas no terminadas y reproduce a color las pinturas interiores.


Un software apropiado permite realizar tours por el interior de los espacios reconstruidos virtualmente. El kit que está a la venta por internet, usa un trípode de 1 m de alto. El scan-laser, emite trillones de pulsos de luz, los que trás rebotar sobre la superficie estudiada, regresan al scanner para ser registrados en una computadora como una serie de puntos blancos (point cloud: formas geométricas sobre la superficie del objeto). Múltiples scans, son requeridos para obtener buenas reconstrucciones, las mismas que son llevadas a un sistema de referencia común donde se termina el modelo. Las catacumbas necesitaron 4 billones de dots.
