TAYLORIZED DRUG TREATMENTS

In previous articles we defended the growing necessity to establish a taylorized medicine. Concerning to medications, one in which after presenting our deciphered genome to a specialized laboratory, they manufacture us a taylorized antibiotic or antihipertensive. We have argued that any current medicine alone produces benefits to 30% of users due to obvious reasons. For it good news are the publication (Lancet), of the opinions of Matthew Falagas and Drosos Karageorgopoulos, claiming to prescribe antibiotics and other medications based on the age, weight, height and valuations of users’s renal-liver function.

Currently no distinction exist in the doses administered to people of 50 kgs and others of 90 kgs. In people with overweight the active principles of the medications are processed in a different way. The solubility of the medications is different according to the biggest or smaller available fat. Both doctors sustain that the current system of drug prescription is obsolete and irresponsible favoring the development of resistant bacterial stumps. It is expected that soon the pharmacogenomic and the pharmacoproteomic facilitate taylorized treatments.
MEDICACION PERSONALIZADA
