GULF OF MEXICO : DISASTER CONTINUES

One year after the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico (780 million liters of oil spills at sea), oil and dead organic beings samples taken from seafunds and sea surface show no change. A study funded by British Petroleum (BP), submitted months ago to the Energy Department (USA), assure that microbes were working very fast. However, another study performed by Samantha Joye (University of Georgia), after examining 250 samples in 6.700 marine km square showed that pollution continued and that microbes had resolved only 10% of the total pollution, contradicting BP estimates Group, explained perhaps because the samples were taken elsewhere and at other times.
